How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I am making a more permeable nongrass lawn with drought resistant plants, mulch, and gravel paths. I have 2 cisterns to help prevent excess storm water runoff and to provide water in the dry season. I am also involved in resisting the coal terminal at Cherry Point near Blaine as there will be runoff containing mercury and arsenic into the water aquifer or ocean.

I was searching the web for sources of wood chips. This site has been helpful.
