I bought most of my compost in early spring from Smit's dairy in Lyndon. I figured that my tomatoes were deficient or improperly watered, but a landscaper friend of mine recognized it as Aminopyralid damage. For those who don't know, the hay farmer sprays the herbicide on the hay to supress broadleaf weeds. The cows eat the hay which is given to them, and their manure contains the herbicide which affects any non-grass crops which it is spread on.
