I just brought home some golden hops...I'm thinking of planting them out in our zone 3 in the forests edge over a pile of wood brush that the tree harvestor left behind...But I'm concerned about them escaping into the forest...Let me know if either of you hear of anything more re containment.

I guess train them to go up and if they get out of hand cut out some of the root systems and give them away, people are always wanting them.

Hi Gary, Like the hops picture. I have golden hops and find they send out runners and appear all over my garden. Do you have any hops "containment" tips?
