Current Opportunities
Community Development Advisory Board - There is one (1) vacancy on the board for Housing Finance/Construction marketing Representative. Meets the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Mayor's Boardroom, Second Floor, City Hall.
Commission Against Domestic Violence- There are two (2) vacancies on the Commission. One is the Human Service Provider and the other is the Community at Large. Lake Whatcom Watershed Advisory Board – There are three (3) vacancies on the Board for a three-year term. Meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Human Resources Training Room, Second Floor, City Hall.
Museum Society Board – There are three (3) vacancies on the Board. Meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 12:00 p.m. at the Whatcom Museum’s Board Room.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board – There are two (2) vacancies on the board. Meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 a.m. at the Bloedel Donovan Park Beach Pavilion.
Planning Commission – There will be two (2) vacancies on the commission. Meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
Tourism Commission – There is one (1) vacancy on the Commission. The Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. at the Lightcatcher Museum.
