Event Description

“The greatest danger of our time is the deadening of our response.”    ~ Joanna Macy & Chris Johnstone

Date and Time:
 Saturday, September 17th, 9 am – 1 pm
Location: Stillpoint at 1625 Huntley Road, Bellingham, WA.

Our ability to interact in new ways with the natural world around us is key to the penultimate crisis of our times. Yet, as much as one may wish to “love” the Earth, a hard truth is that we have been conditioned by the same cultural paradigm that’s destroying her.

This workshop is a call to stretch ourselves beyond the limitations of convention and reason for the sake of a new relationship with the Earth.  Through a series of sensorial, somatic, and creative encounters – and with the support of Creation itself – we’ll explore extending our relational possibilities with Nature, toward an intimacy so radical it goes to the pre-civilized roots of who we really are.

Join us for a soul-refreshing, world-renewing spell of unusual experiences with the landscape, creatures, and myriad energies of Stillpoint.

May our capacity for inner and outer wilderness be restored in a new appreciation for the strange and beautiful mystery of “with.”

“Love has more courage than reason.”    ~ Rumi
