Whatcom Investing Network orientation and meeting

WIN is welcoming new members and business opportunites.  Whatcom Investing Network (WIN) is a spin-off of the Transition Whatcom Personal Finance Workgroup.  We organized last summer and have successfully funded three loans.

Our January 19 orientation and meeting is open to everyone.  We will meet at Sustainable Connections, 1701 Ellis St, at the north/right end.

6:00 P.M.   Orientation for potential members and others interested in learning about WIN.   Our members are primarily investors.  There are no fees or minimum investment to join.  To get ready,  go to the “Become a Member” tab on our website www.whatcominvesting.org.  You will find links to the Membership Application and Membership Agreement there.  You may fill the forms out online or you may fill out paper forms the night of the orientation.

7:00 P.M.   The meeting starts.  Everyone is welcome.  Our main discussion topic will be about "strategies to make local businesses aware of WIN as their financing option".

If you have a business and will be looking for funding, you too will find information on our website under the “Borrow Locally” tab.  Offerings can be submitted at any time and we will begin the process of getting to know you as soon as they are received.
