Event Description

Sustainable Economics & Currencies - Informational Meeting - Fourth Corner Exchange

Casual Informal Meeting on participating in your local sustainable currency with Fourth Corner Exchange (we use "lifedollars") .

Our vision:
A world of economic freedom and justice for all, where all communities have access to a fair and equitable universal medium of exchange, issued by the people in sufficiency to meet their own needs and the needs of their communities.

Our mission is to create this world of economic democracy by rebuilding our communities through teaching people how to use our community currency in a socially just and responsible manner.

This will be a short, informal sign up, one hour long. Call Francis (360.671.0571) if you plan on attending, so he knows how many people to expect. (You can also request a future date or group presentation)

Thursday August 27th, 4:00pm-5:00pm
Please arrive on time

"You can join Fourth Corner Exchange and bring the benefits of our community currency to your community. "

"If you cannot personally attend a New Member meeting, go to this link to learn the alternative:
http://www.fourthcornerexchange.com/info/joining.php "

"Fourth Corner Exchange is a Sustainable Community Currency based in the Pacific Northwest USA, which operates throughout the USA and the world. Currently we have over eight-hundred participating members, with branches in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Ohio, California in the USA and other local chapters in Canada and Sweden.
...From those small beginnings we have grown to over eight-hundred members, exchanging a large selection of goods & services throughout the Pacific Northwest, centered around Bellingham and Port Townsend. "

I've been a member for over 3 years and invite other transition whatcom & twig members to begin their economic alternative transition!
There are other globel communities that also have more than one currancy to use in their communities.
Lets begin exchanging - sharing our gifts - asking for our needs .
