Join Sustainable Bellingham’s Roving Garden Party series, where volunteers help their neighbors create an edible & medicinal garden.
This week April 23rd, we're at an 'Edible-Medicinal Pollinator Forest Garden-Sanctuary'.
You will be nourished with meal & beauty –Rain or Shine.
5:30 Carpool-Caravan meet-up: Public Market parking lot.
** TO BRING: Dress for cold & wet weather! Lawnchair/ blanket, potluck sharing.
(For lake safety reasons, each young folk needs one adult next to them at all times. Photographers, first check with host Heather Before taking Any garden pictures. Please No Pets per Wild Life preference.)
** TOOLS: Bring for hand weeding & edging, & Bucket, Wheelbarrows.
** TASKS: Heather will offer each person a choice of tasks. Team project is along garden paths, protecting garden-edges from grass. Set up & clean up for outdoor meal & bonfire welcomed!
** HOSTS: 'Heartsong Garden Sanctuary' serfs .
** MEAL-POTLUCK: Don may cook is vegan mexican corn/bean soup, or rice/bean meal. Your potluck offering welcomed with a label.
** WHERE: Near http://goo.gl/maps/ZU9x7 Northshore area. Carpool Caravan meet-up at Public Market 5:30. Parking along Agate Bay rd & look for sign. Garden behind shack near lake. RSVP & request for directions before April 20 send to firstname.lastname@example.org .
