Event Description

A Primitive and Life Skills Gathering held in the North Cascades Wildlands. Encouraging re-connecting and re-wilding through ancient living skills and craft that link us all to our ancestors. Recognizing the need to preserve and continue these old ways as we delve deeper into a technologically based society. Promoting self-sufficiency, community building, and deep connection to the land and all beings. Learn hands-on skills such as tanning a deer hide, making baskets, building fires and shelters, gathering and preparing wild edible foods and medicinal plants. Camp with other cool people and celebrate into the evening. Kids and dogs are allowed.

I don't think I am going to attend this wonderful gathering this year, only because I my body is not up to any more travelling right now. But I believe Ashley Benems is going if anyone wants to contact her about carpooling from Bellingham.

Prmitive Skills Gathering near Twisp 3rd weekend of Sept!
I've always wanted to attend. The site is remote & usually very dry.
Thanks for posting Chris! (and give me a call if you're going to go...it might inspire me to make the drive too). Also coming up in Oct will be the long standing Okanagan Valley barter fair...Someone will need to google for the info & post as an event.
