Pacific Rim Regeneration Summit

Please mark your calendars. This is a place holder notification to let you know that Joy Gilfilen (of Uniting Creatives) is leading the effort to plan and host a Pacific Rim Regeneration Summit for our entire bioregion!  The fact is, our Pacific Ocean is in peril and our international border and transportation routes will be impacted by social, economic and political actions! 

This is about moving beyond all the issues that divide us, and learning how to cross pollinate across all prior boundaries that divide us...so that we can find ways to unite us in ACTION!  

We must team up across all sectors to protect our fresh waters, our inland Salish Sea and Puget Sound waters, and the 8 Million people who inhabit this bioregion.

This means building on the Regenerate Cascadia organizing work, enhancing our older Transition Towns work, our tribal nations work, etc.  We can work together to learn to collaborate, to listen, then  support our tribes, small cities, small enterprising proactive groups, and all the other bioregional groups to help us build a local, living economy that protects the waters, nourishes Gaia, etc. 

It is essential that we learn the most effective ways to protect our animals, waterways, soils, farms, fish, food supply --- and learn how to cross the pre-conditioned boundaries that block us from sharing so we can build a strong economy (not an imprisoned one).  

Summit is Sept. 25-27...with tutorials and trainings happening in advance and after, and we have a platform for gathering recordings and resources together!
