Work Party to Restore Streamside Habitat for Salmon sponsored by Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA).
October 24th from 9am – 12 pm.
(& 5 more Saturdays mornings between October 17th – November 21st),
Help plant native trees & shrubs along Terrell Creek with other volunters
BBQ Lunch after work party sponsored by BP Refinery & Chums of Terrell Creek.
Tools & gloves will be provided.
Wear weather-appropriate clothing & wear sturdy shoes.
Refreshments provided by The Bagelry, the community Food Co-op, Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods, Starbukcs Coffee, & Tony's Coffee & Teas.
Network with your friends for carpooling or ride a bike & dresss warm!
Directions: From B'ham take I-5 North. Take Grandview Rd. exit & head West. Turn right at stop sign at Jackson Rd. Parking is available in lot at Birch Bay Bible Community Church on left. Cross Jackson Rd. & check in at the NSEA tent.
Terrel Creek is 8.7 miles long & drains 15 miles into the Birch Bay Watershed, emptying into Birch Bay.
