Event Description

Curious about how farmers are responding to climate change in our community? Find out what regenerative agriculture looks like on the ground, and how you can support local food producers in addressing climate change.

Join Sustainable Connections for a discussion of the film “Kiss the Ground”, on Saturday, April 24 from 3:30-5pm. This event features audience discussion, plus a panel of local farmers, including Faith Van Du Putte and David Bill from Midnight’s Farm on Lopez Island. The farmer panel will share their practices for addressing climate change, considerations that are unaddressed in the film and more. More presenters to be announced. Sustainable Connections’ Food & Farming team will offer resources for sourcing local food, and connect you with the tools need to take the best next step for you.

Tickets required. Free tickets available until April 23rd at 3:30pm. Only 1 ticket needed per viewing screen.
