Event Description

A workshop within the Martin Luther King day at WCC, presented by Dianne Foster as a follow-up to the financial collapse teach-in last spring. How we the people can direct our money to re-localize the economy. Also presenting will be WECU's manager to discuss the difference between national and local banks and nonprofits, the way in which local institutions contribute to the local economy, vs. taking profits out.
