Ground Breaking by Soil Building-
SHEET MULCH EXTRAVAGANZA!
with Center for Local Self Reliance
at the old Rose Garden in Fairhaven.
Saturday, February 13th
from 9 am - 12 pm
Fairhaven Park - Caretaker's House
"The Center for Local Self-Reliance is having our first big soil-building project! We will layer cardboard, compost and wood chips and begin creating the shape of the gardens. The project will be settled with a dose of sweet compost tea to kick start this biological transformation.
Please join us at this most inspiring time of new beginnings!
(Snacks and beverages provided to keep us going!)
* Come and see the progress we have made on the house retrofit, and celebrate this exciting time with us!"

Hi! I'd love to hear how the sheel mulching party went! I wasn't able to attend, instead I was at a whale symposium, heard great speakers & films I can recommend for us in transition. Please post any pictures that you took.
