The Call for Art, Functional Designs and Trash Fashion is now live on The RE Store website. The deadline for all submissions is 5 p.m. on March 8th. All the details can be found at this link:
There are five different calls for art galleries in Seattle and Bellingham during April's month-long Recycled Art and Fashion Show. Submissions are being accepted for "Professional Art" and "Functional Design" galleries in Seattle and for "Professional Art", "Student Art" and "Functional Design" galleries in Bellingham. In addition, there are Calls for Trash Fashion Designs by "Professional/amateurs" and by students as well.
The RE Store and Robin Worley, aka Rayona Visqueen of Haute Trash invite you to join the League of Trash Fashion. Our Trash Fashion Shows are renowned around Puget Sound for good reasons. We are excited to be partnering with the Western Washington University's Fine Arts and Theater Department in Bellingham. There is a new student category this year (no submission fee required for students). There is also good news that both our Seattle and Bellingham shows will have all ages attendance. The Bellingham show will happen on Friday, April 30th. The Seattle show will take place on Saturday, April 17th, thanks to the good folks at the New York Fashion Academy providing a shelter for this splendid event. Tickets will be for sale in the end of February.
We are seeking business partners to join in this publicity feeding frenzy and links to the sponsorship page is also available at the top of the Call for Submissions page.
Help us spread the word by posting the links on whatever social digital web thingy or mobile doodad you can think of.
