Event Description

This thoughtful documentary portrays the history of the struggle over water rights among the many communities in the 300 mile course of the beautiful Klamath River Basin.

This film will tantalize us with a 2010 "success story" from the Klamath watershed straddling the CA/OR border - one that may possibly provide patterns & inspiration for Whatcom County.

Sponsors will also provide more recent information since the film, about why critical authorizations & funding have languished so the agreements are at risk - which may also provide us with important cautionary lessons to apply here.

Note there will be a panel discussion following the film to consider what it all may mean for us.
