I am curious how the opening went...David, were you able to get your photos there in time? I brought a piece but Morgan was not there so I left it...out of town this weekend, so I had to miss the opening!

This is not the best eagle photo, and I'm annoyed at the branch that got in the way (out of focus), but I'll post it here anyway. This weekend I hope to get better shots:

And while I'm at it, here's a sunset from a few days ago:

The only reason I haven't done that is because they aren't exactly Transition related, and I don't think I should clutter up the photo box with my stuff... but if enough people think it's a good idea, I will. Thanks!

David I stand in awe of your gift of beauty captured through the camera!
May more of us see the beauty your eyes perceive.

If you upload these on your personal page,
then I think we will all get to see them on the main page each time we sign in!

All of these photos were taken yesterday, from Whatcom Falls and Marine Park. Enjoy!

Morgan- I'm so sorry! My boss has asked us to be at work by 8am which is SO EARLY for me, I have to pick out my clothes and make my lunch because I'm brain dead in the morning. I have put the pastel by the back door and will not forget tomorrow. If its too late I understand- but I'll be there friday afternoon if its not.

I hope I'm not too late, I've been really busy working and doing other things, and my prints just came in the mail today. They will be at Bloom by the end of tomorrow! (friday)

Perhaps a poem could go along with it, but personally I don't know if I would want to put any words on it (I'm a purist..). My intent with my photography is of course that they are there to be sold, but if not, then I'll gladly hang it up at home. If anyone wanted to pay enough money for it, I would take what I would need for myself to cover the costs, etc., and gladly donate any more to TW. Also, I am not going to be having this one framed, at least not yet, because any frame would cost at least $100, and right now I would rather not spend that much. It will be mounted onto a good backing, though.

I was going to ask, are there posters up around town for the show? How many people are aware of it?

Wow that is incredible! I can't wait to see it full size. Can we sell this one, maybe put a great poem on the one corner and make big bucks for TW?
