How are you currently involved in the Transition?

No, but I have been in the past.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I have been interested in nature, it seems for ever since I can recall, since my German parents took me on nature walks and hikes ever since I can recall. Having had a scientist dad and appreciating science and nature programs on tv, etc and hearing people whose judgement I respect, talk, I feel quite certain that joining this group is a very worthwhile and meaningful thing to do.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

Being a grandmother and feeling passionate about supporting " the next generation" I have an interest in music and play the violin and have given violin lessons in the past. I believe music has a power to heal and bring people together. I feel I would need to chat with current members to better understand in what capacity I could serve.

The Sunnyland Neighborhood

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

Through my son, David Veale and some lady friends of mine.
