How are you currently involved in the Transition?

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
My husband, Ed and I have been moving towards sustainability and self sufficiency for some time now. We would like to build stronger networks with other like minded folks.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
We have a small farm raising pastured animals, and an ever increasing garden. I do a lot of food preserving by canning, drying, and fermenting. Ed is also a carpenter and all around handy guy!
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
