We organically farm, for the last 32 years, a mixed use farm in western PA, with value adding as a guiding principle (in the form of flour milling) and regional production as a bedrock of commerce (in the form of our 4000 item organic food warehouse).
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Though we are not sure what Transition means, our friend Heather invited us to bring our experience of self-sufficiency, organic farming and trade, and homesteading, to this forum.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
We practice value-adding, vertical integration, and regional homesteading, for the last 3 decades.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
The hills of western Pennsylvania.
