- How are you currently involved in the Transition?
- We organically farm, for the last 32 years, a mixed use farm in western PA, with value adding as a guiding principle (in the form of flour milling) and regional production as a bedrock of commerce (in the form of our 4000 item organic food warehouse).
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- Though we are not sure what Transition means, our friend Heather invited us to bring our experience of self-sufficiency, organic farming and trade, and homesteading, to this forum.
- Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
- We practice value-adding, vertical integration, and regional homesteading, for the last 3 decades.
- In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
- The hills of western Pennsylvania.
- Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
- Ask practical questions to find skills and experience to share.

So great to have you connect in with our maritime bioregion Transition Towns group.
I hope you'll enjoy some of our posted videos, forums, blogs.. I've sent you an invite to one of the groups – 'Small Scale Grain & Beans – Grow-Process-Save” that I thought would be mutually inspiring as we go through earth changes.
To manage influx of emails, be sure to set up your ning site options. (Directions- Sign on to site, Look on right side & click blue “Settings”. Then open on the left side both blue 'Privacy' page and the “Email” page and click your choices.)
