How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Not involved at this point but very interested.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Because change is going to come from the ground up. I love the power of grass roots organizations. I think Transition Whatcom is a positive forward facing group .
Community is important.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am not really sure what you consider skills or talents or resources. I work at the 911 center. My husband is a veterinarian. We are both good gardeners. We know the outdoors. I am a good troubleshooter. My husband can build almost anything.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Everson. Live at Goodwin and Hopewell.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I can't remember,probably the Weekly. I looked your website up because I was interested.

Welcome, Stacy! Sounds like you are already pretty self-reliant- especially if you or your significant other can grow things and fix things. If you ever want to branch out into chickens, we have a great chicken 'group', called The Flock. Hope to meet you in person sometime!
