"It took me some time to find the Blog/Twog with the proposal and I'm still not sure i have it--but I think it is the New Year ning renovation and/or the monthly Transition Drinks and conversations. Personally, I don't enjoy conversing…"
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I understand it to be one of the progressive networking groups in Whatcom County and I would like the support of such a group, connect students to the group as fitting, become involved in some capacity.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I'd like to get to know the group more before knowing what I have to offer. My interests are certainly building communities (locally and globally) that respect the commons, the earth, and the people living now and in the future. I have been a long time educator/activist so have resources and skills in working for positive social change. From what I know of Transition Whatcom, I see the organization as positively looking at and acting for the present and the future and I want to be a part of building healthy communities.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
