How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I recently went to the NW Permaculture Convergence and just started learning about transition towns. LOVE the concept and am definitely interested in learning how I can be a part of the movement.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I love the idea of creating community in neighborhoods where it doesn't currently exist - or becoming an existing "villager" in a transition community. I feel our society is too fragmented and cookie cutter, and transition towns help to create a sense of uniqueness and togetherness that seems to be missing in many places.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I am an online marketer, so many of my strongest skills are through web design, e-newsletters, blogging, online advertising, etc.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

My husband and I do not currently live in Whatcom County, however we are seriously considering moving to or near Bellingham.

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

Someone at the NW Permaculture Convergence suggested that I join this online community since we are seriously considering moving to Bellingham.
