I am just a college student trying to become more involved in building and connecting resilient communities. A few classmates and I are looking to connect with transition members to see what projects could use our contributions!
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I live on 5 acres that I would like to do something with. I am looking to bounce ideas off of people who have been successful in cultivating their land; gardening, "food forests", raising animals, and preparing for a different future. I am interested in what kind of network this Transition group actually is.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am interested in, as stated above, cultivating my land. I love (and have) chickens.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
North Bellingham, County
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Andrew spoke to our qualitative methods anthropology class. My work group was very interested in the Transition movement and we want to find out what it is all about!

I would love to gather some information as "fieldwork"; I wish to see what sustainable efforts are being made to connect our community.
