Profile Information

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Long time observer of the Terminal Triangle: Peak Oil, Climate Change, Economic Meltdown. It would be gratifying to interact with people I don't have to explain these things to. Sort of recruited by a current member at a screening of "Collapse"
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I would like to learn more about gardening in this area. Interested in long term food and water storage, as well as wood stove cookery.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Blaine/ Birch Bay
Please note that you do not have to answer all of the above questions in order to join, and you can always come back later to edit your profile. If it's all too many questions for now, please provide a short answer below on why you'd like to join this site (or a summary of the above, if answered).
I'm sure I have something to contribute, as well as to gain. It will be interesting to see what these are.

Welcome Phil! I read your page and thought you might be interested in our online sub-group of Organic Gardeners, Permaculturists, & Edible Forest Gardeners....You can find us under the TW 'Group'.
You can click 'Join' if you want to received an email when someone posts, or just look around when you want....we are pretty busy gardeners but we occasionally post our knowledge.
There are some great folks up in Blaine & Birch Bay, you can find some of your TW neighbors if you do a search under the 'Members' tab.
