Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Just attended the Great Unleashing. I am looking forward to becoming more involved.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am excited by the positivity of the group. My interest in the environment goes way back but I cannot align myself with groups that try to motivate out of fear. I have four grandkids in Whatcom County. I am interested in bringing this positive attitude to them so that they will willingly be part of the solution to our planet's needs.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am previous owner of D'Anna's Delicafe & Catering from Fairhaven therefore, I have cooking skills. In particular, I have vegetarian cooking skills and could teach people how to use all those veggies from their gardens. I am also an avid meditator and have an awareness practice that helps with roadblocks we put up for ourselves. I have previously been a facilitator conducting workshops on this topic. I also love working with children and would love to see Transition Whatcom be a part of the school curriculum.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
The Lettered Streets - corner of Broadway and Holly.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Cascade Weekly

A connection to like-minded people is a great motivation for me to get involved.
