How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I'm new in town and interested in learning more about Transition.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I am familiar with Alaska Native communities and the difficulties in creating sustainable economies in rural areas. Many policies have unintended consequences and so require thoughtful discussion before adoption and refinement afterward.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I am a retired land manager with a MS in Environment Health Science and an MS in Natural Resource Management. I am also a student of Asian, especially Korean, history and culture and have certain organizational/mangement skills.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

north side of the Columbia Neighborhood adjoining Sqalicum Creek.
