How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I am working with an Olympia organization that is half Transition and half a coordinating effort among many existing organizations that all have Transition compatible goals.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

At 35, I have felt/known that humans can't go on like they are. My few forays into activism and student organizing produced little more than the previous years of despair, nihilism, fatalism, introversion, and parties.
In the Transition movement, I see a positive, optimistic joining of my thwarted ideals to a practical set of steps.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I am a web designer and writer. Good at speaking to groups, communication in general, crafting messages, designing posters.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Outside the county - Olympia, WA
