In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I am interested in the sustainable gardening for my family. small scale.

I would like to grow wheat for my family.

I would like to grow most of the veggies that my family eats. I would like to try to grow wheat to make my own bread and put up veggies and fruit. Jam and fruit I know how to can but as for the rest I am clueless. so I am looking for info and resources:)
