In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

Growing up here in the '60's, I had seen suburban sprawl destroy the town in Oregon where I'd lived until my family moved here in 1958. A transition we needed to prevent from happening to our community. Sadly, the efforts of my Huxley professors to create a plan in the 1980's, despite wide public support, went nowhere.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

Environmental Planning Huxley College 1974. GIS/Remote Sensing research peer reviewed by "rocket scientists" in the 80's.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
