Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I work for Kulshan Community Land Trust, working to provide affordable access to land for housing and farming.
I am also involved in an ad-hoc volunteer group working to reduct consumption of bottled water in our community and would be interested to find out how our group can tap into Transition Whatcom ( to bring awareness to the importance of access to safe, clean drinking water, protecting our drinking water resources as a public resource, and more).
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I believe in growing a community everyone can afford, creating a stable, resilient homeownership opportunities for low-income households to keep our neighborhoods socially and economically diverse. I like the inclusiveness of your mission, values, and programs.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
fundraising expertise and am pretty well connected in the community.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Welcome Jill,

I've had an interest in Kulshan Community Land Trust for sometime, I believe you provide a valuable service to our commuity.
I'm organizing a feast and live auction at Ciao Thyme on March 24 to raise funds for the Great Unleashing and was informed By Jessica that KCLT have regularly scheduled dinners at Ciao Thyme. Would you be intetrested in helping me out? I will send you ininvitation to the feast if you send me your email.
I l need help gathering donations to auction. So far it has been a lot of fun but I am running short on time. Interested?
