I have transitioned from co-owning a homestead to renting to converting and living in a tiny house skoolie, which I am working on making comfortably off-grid, and looking to integrate into a sustainable community. I am open to exploring ways to get involved with Transition, which I understand to be a super structure that is currently mostly dormant?
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Freedom from the oppression and destruction of fossil fuels is a long-standing deep desire, with dreams of returning to a way for us all to live in harmony with nature and each other.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I enjoy gardening, animal husbandry and creating beautiful living environments. I'm interested in learning herbology and homeopathy. I'm a professional structural and artistic painter.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Currently at Inspiration Farm, seeking a suitable winter space.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I've had friends and relatives involved for years. Friend Jamie brought it up to me recently, and I decided it's time to get involved.
