Just a member for now but I'd like to network with permaculture people.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm a student in permaculture design and I'd like to meet others that are serious about changing our communities.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I'm a person of many interests. I'm from B'ham, but traveled to many places while in the US Navy. I've also been to many permaculture farms while traveling out of the Navy. Currently I'm finishing up my last quarter at WCC and will be up at WWU come fall of 2011.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
A nice gentleman told me about this website at a dinner party.
Please note that you do not have to answer all of the above questions in order to join, and you can always come back later to edit your profile. If it's all too many questions for now, please provide a short answer below on why you'd like to join this site (or a summary of the above, if answered).
I'd like to become involved in community projects and network with others of the same interest. I have a lot of experience to offer!

Welcome Jacob! Great to have another student of permaculture & traveler here!
There is a Transition Lynden in the process of being created. ( I can share more neighbor connections & links later if you'd like.)
Your invited to network with many of the local Transition permaculturists & growers on the Earth Gardens network at - http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/organic Just click the join button on that link if you're interested.
Also many of us share our news & events by email through Shannon's Garden E-News. Shannon is on this TW network and if you leave your email there, she can add you to the Garden-E-News list.
