In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I come from the UK where the Transition movement is in full swing in many places. I would like to learn more about the movement and get involved where I can.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
II'm a graduate in conservation so I have lots of knowledge and experience surrounding environmental issues globally and locally (working at Conservation Northwest). I work well with young people, as I have background experience in youth work projects and I'm hoping to teach environmental education to young people and children.
I play the banjo.
I love cooking and baking (I'm told I'm good at it, which helps).
Arts and crafts are another passion.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Lyle Street, Bellingham (from the UK, however, and I will be returning there). I would like to get a job in the area in the future in environmental work.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Green Drinks in Bellingham. I google searched for the transition movement in Bellingham.
