Scythes to replace your weedeaters starting at $20

Real working antiques some over 70 years old. These are the 2 hand standup type like grandpa used to use. I have some parts and a couple complete units at my vending site in the Alger Community Flea Market along with new sprinklers and other tools some of which are antiques intended for decorating. We're open Sat and Sun 9 to 5 depending on the weather. Look for Ed's green metal shed. Ed  360-319-4866

Ed Lofquist commented on Janet Senour's group Alternative Energy
"I can think of many alternative energy projects that are well worth the effort but I think requiring them to be made entirely from recycled materials is too restrictive and counter productive."

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Life long interest in alternative energy devices and systems. I am an inventor and product creator.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Some aspects of your vision of the future parallel my own. I am most interested in promoting and evolving alternative energy which of itself will accomplish many of your goals. I joined with the idea of cooperating with others of like mind who want to go beyond the idealistic talk and invest time and $ in real hardware creation, R&D and product marketing.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
