In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am concerned for my grandchildren's future and believe that by planning we can make the inevitable changes more easily. I have long cared about the Earth and her creatures, so am concerned not only for human beings. I attended the panel discussion at the Unitarian Church.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Not many skills and less time. i am connected to a lot of environmental groups nationwide and one or two locally.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Hi Doris! Welcome to the Whatcom Transition ning.com site! I just attended our 'Walking our Walk' event this past Sunday. There is a neighborhood group on the site I thought you & family might be interested in.
I sent you a friend request for this site, you can find it by signing on and looking to the right side somewhere under your name. I hope all is well!
I see you live in the Samish Neighborhood, I created a Group for our neigborhood, hope you will join.

Your neighborhood has just started a Transition Samish group. Check out the groups tab - encourage your neighbors to get involved!
And thank you for returning the TW stuff - I hope you had a great event.
