How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I am not currently involved in your group/organization, of course, but am now applying. However I am an eco-author and creation spirituality poet. Presently I have a free ebook published on line from Helsinki Finland that has had 30,000 downloads in two months of publication. I am committed to eco-sanity, biotic democracy, sustainable civilization through voluntary simplicity and Earth based spirituality, peace, diversity and justice without borders.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

Being in agreement with your working principles and intentions, I feel that Whatcom country, and perhaps Bellingham in particular, provide fertile ground for planting the seeds of these changes and seeing many of your goals actualized in various communities. I would be honored and enthusiastically pleased to become involved and be part of the transition-process. There is a very promising balance there between nature access, agriculture and education.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

Have pretty put forth my key interests and dedications in answering a question above. However, there are talents and resources I would much want to bring to you and share with people in the area. My free ebook LIFE IN THE AGE OF EXTIONCTIONS is written both to read and speak aloud in the presence of others. Having background and experience as a Shakespearean actor and drama teacher, I offer dramatic readings from the book as well as related workshops on eco-shamanic ritual and green public performing art. In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Am presently living in Seattle, but planning on teaching at Whatcom Community starting in the summer and will move to Bellingham this coming Autumn where I already have two grown children

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

I was given your organization name by my friend Rev. Meredith Ann Murray during a discussion of my interest in finding event-opportunities in Bellingham to share with and participate in. Once I had your name, it was easy to locate the website! And let me add, please, I would very much appreciate becoming part of your efforts and offer to you the resource of who I am and what I do toward a future of Earth healing and human sanity.
