I am attempting to stem the tide of the coming "Homogenocene" (degraded biodiversity) by ripping out populations of invasive non-food plants, while planting food plants capable of competing. I am enthusiastic about restoration, and want to connect with others in the field, and help build a team of folks dedicated to future generations of plants, animals.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
This sh*t is f*cked and we're at a pretty desperate moment in Earth history. I want to be part of a group of people going in a rational direction that is in line with the fundamental laws of the universe.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
