How are you currently involved in the Transition?: mini farm, part of 'my 3 pigs' coop (raise our own organic pork), free range chickens (eggs only, so far), support local organic farmers.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: Mostly with what foods I feed my family. Also, with where they come from and how they get here (how far they travel~fuel), eating seasonal foods.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?: I'm new at this, reading more as I learn more. Plan on purchasing land in Ferndale to upsize our minifarm. Also have hopes to start a community garden.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?: currently in Blaine, planning to move to Ferndale

We had a big increase in Transition Ferndale members at the Great Unleashing. If you want to keep up with our progress and activities, join the group "Transition Ferndale". Hope all is going well. Judith

You can find us under the Group tab above. We have 2 events that are on the Events page. On Mar 17 we are meeting at at someone's home to start talking about how we can support each other. On Mar 22 we have a movie/ potluck night at Ferndale WECU. People came from all over for the last one. Check out the Events page for the details.
