Hi Carrie,
Long time no see... I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Fall. I just met a neighbor of yours, Kirsti. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I am starting a Transition Initiative for York Neighborhood... which is basically a grassroots movement of a neighborhood organizing itself to work toward greater sustainability and community togetherness. If you are interested in being involved in that or learning more, you can click on the "Groups" tab of this website and join "Transition York Neighborhood." There is also a workshop coming up Oct 18 that several of us from York will be attending (more details under "Events"). Hope to see you soon! --Chris
Hi Carrie,
Great to see you on here! I did approve your invitation to join our online gardening group, so now you should be able to go to www.transitionwhatcom.ning.com and click on "Groups" and then "Franklin Park Gardening Group" to read people's posts. Feel free to post anything you want, especially anything you need help with or any extras you have to give away. Oh, and you could put a photo of yourself on your profile so people can see who you are. It was so great to meet you Saturday!
