Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I'm Rick Dubrow's sister, living in Melbourne, FL. I've been visiting Bellingham for as long as Rick's lived ther - gosh, about 20 years now. Every time I go, I fall in love again. And B'ham, Whatcom County is like a sister community to Melbourne, Brevard County. When we got our first mall, how we're growing, challenges we're facing.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I have always lived simply. I like life that way. Rick and Cindi's passion rubbed off on me on my visit (March, 2010 - I was blessed with a glorous spring of all in bloom. They were gardening, planning The Great Awakening, and more. I came home and joined the Pachamama Alliance. We want to join forces and partner with you guys in Bellingham.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I'm a change agent, a leader, a great team member. I know about the psychology of change and believe if we give people the opportunity to change with a big ROI (WIIFM) in it for them, they will. We need to engage, not repel, and I want to contribute to moving to critical mass as quickly as possible.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Melbourne, Bervard County, FL - where the Shuttle goes off
Your Personal Website (if you have one)

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Rick Dubrow's my brother. I knew about The Great Awakening and Transition Whatcom through him and Cindi. He sent me an email with the link. Here I am.

HI Bonnie! Hope things are going well in Florida helping to create a Brevard Transition! We are in the midst of our temperate climate harvest season and also peak alpine bloom & hiking season! (Happy Birthday too!)
