How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I am involved in environmental groups as NSEA. I am a leader in my community garden in Lynden. I am active in Occupy Bellingham and its many actions and events. Each day I make Smart Trips.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I like the local action and low energy living. I care deeply about fairness and sustainability

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I like gardening and native plants, children, and walking. I write letters to the editor or other opinion pieces. I can speak if I need to, but I am not fluent on computers.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Lynden city

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

In our outreach from Occupy we are getting to know responsible, resourceful local people. I think the showing of the McKibben Do the Math last Sunday evening was by Transition Ferndale and I met old and new friends.
