I just sent an inquiry to investigate the possibility of screening Velcrow Ripper's "Occupy Love." Many have seen some of his shorts that have been on youtube, featuring Charles Eisenstein, etc. Is a film about the Occupy movement appropriate for a Transition group to sponsor? Judging by the excerpts I've seen so far, I'd say yes in this particular case. I see the film as being about much more than the Occupy movement. It is the third of a 3 part trilogy (including Scared Sacred and Fierce Light). I imagine bringing in other co-sponsors, including, of course, Occupy Bellingham.
