Hello All,
In response to feedback regarding Bellingham Airport Expansion from our neighborhood events, the Birchwood Neighborhood Association is co-hosting a Town Hall Meeting with Columbia Neighborhood Association and Reduce Jet noise. Some are are pro Bellingham Airport expansion and some are against. Currently, 2 Port Commissioners positions are open for election. Our Port has only 3 Port commissioners-- so the majority in position could easily change with this election. Please come help give the Port a better vision of our communities views as well as add to its research in getting more community feedback in regards to the Airport. You may sign up to ask questions or just come and educate yourself on the candidates and your community views. Please scroll down or open the attached for further information. We would GREATLY appreciate helping us get the word out by forwarding the information to your family and neighbors, posting flyers on your websites and/or the old fashioned "water cooler talks". Please, help us encourage people to participate in a decision that will greatly effect our community for years to come. Any ideas in promotion also appreciated
See you there!
