Core Issues with Heart & Soul in Transition

Trying to get this posted before the H&S meeting this evening, sorry this is a rush job...

 

Recently, a very interesting discussion was posted on Rob Hopkins' blog, entitled "A Discussion About Ways of Knowing in Transition."  Very important discussion between Rob, and other key thinkers from the Transition Network.

Since the above link is long, I've been working on a summary.  So far my summary itself is a bit long for a summary.  So, download the attached, and just read the bolded parts to get the brief summary.  The attachment includes a couple of comments posted to the blog, from me and from Bart Anderson of the Energy Bulletin. You have to look hard to find uploaded attachments.  Check just under this post.

 

Also, you can download a recording of the discussion about Heart & Soul groups that occurred at the Transition Cascadia Summit last month  (listen hard to see if you can identify my voice in there).  Vicki Robin made some excellent comments that helped steer the discussion.

Possibly when the summary you're working on is complete, it would be helpful to have portions of it and a mission/vision statement written in the top intro text part of this online Heart & Soul group to both communicate to new members joining and to help hold a focus to those here.
(whoever is an admin on this group can do these additions to the text).....
