At our well-attended TW Goshen neighborhood meeting last weekend I was suprised how many attendees had not heard of this important world-wide event. After some discussion and sharing of ideas it became clear of the possibilities within TW. Preliminarily, our group is organizing a "threshing" party with a fellow member of Goshen as well as the Small Scale Grain and Bean group. Rob Olason has created a group "350.org Workgroup aka 10-10-10" to use as the hub for all groups within TW to organize their individual workparties. The TW 10-10-10 workgroup link is registered with 350.org for anyone in our community wishing to participate in that day's events. Please go to the 350.org website at http://www.350.org/ to learn more about this movement. If you wish to participate, get with your groups and see what amazing ideas you can come up with and post them on the workgroup site.
