Event Description

A Celt Schira Class, Co-sponsored by Transition Whatcom and Whatcom Folk School.

Urban spaces can grow an amazing amount of fresh food. Find out how to use what you have, where you are to save money and grow your own ingredients for wonderful meals. How to assess your space, use vertical space, grow your own starts, extend the season and garden in containers and raised beds. Urban gardens are an opportunity to combine art and growing food.

This class was big hit at the Great Unleashing last year. Great fun and how-to, check it out.
