Transition Towns are taking hold in many communites across the country but we can do more to encourage and support those efforts if we have Transition Trainers in every province. This means more "localized" knowledge being available, lower travel/workshop costs and of course reduced carbon emissions through closer to home training.
If you ...
have attended the 2-day "Training for Transition" workshop,
are already a strong facilitator or adult trainer, and
have experience with social, economic, or environmental change efforts in your own community ...
... then you may want to apply for the Train the Trainers Workshop, November 11-14 in Roberts Creek, on BC's Sunshine Coast (near Gibsons). Download the application letter and form.
Email Michelle or Lena anytime if you have questions or want more information.
