Event Description
River Haven Community Farm is hosting a Threshing Party and Equinox Harvest Potluck. Come for both or just come for the potluck. Co-Sponsored by Transition Whatcom.
From 2-5:30pm We'll teach folks how to thresh and winnow dry beans and grains as we process the harvest from the Backyard Beans and Grains Project 2011 farming season. Bring gloves and your best stomping boots. A fiddle or two wouldn't hurt, either!
At 6-ish we will have an equinox harvest potluck, so bring your favorite dish made from local ingredients if possible!

We would like to host the seed swap/barter fair it at Riverhaven but haven't talked over the details yet. We've been so busy out there and hardly keeping up with high priority jobs so it's just been on the backburner.
